Law enforcement agencies across the central coast area are rethinking on how to enforce the shelter in place order. After weekend crowds of out of the area residents descended on to Santa Cruz area beaches despite blocked off parking areas and signage. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office issued over 200 citations from Friday through Sunday. Most were for parking violations along North Coast beaches.
