THE CITY CUT SPENDING ON REGULAR SALARIES BY OVER 2 MILLION DOLLARS, BY UTILIZING FURLOUGHS AND UNFILLED VACANCIES. SPENDING ON OVERTIME EXPENSES INCREASED BY 2-HUNDRED-AND-5-THOUSAND DOLLARS, DUE TO CRIME INCREASES AND FEWER OFFICER POSITIONS.
