A ground-breaking ceremony is scheduled to be held this morning(mon) in Santa Cruz, to mark the beginning of construction of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Exploration Center. The Center will be located at 35 Pacific Avenue, near the Santa Cruz Municipal wharf. The ground-breaking ceremony is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Once it is completed, the center is expected to house interactive exhibits, classrooms, and lab facilities.
