The Santa Cruz City Council has approved a major beach-area condominium and commercial development next to the Dream Inn. The project which had mixed community reactions at the last council meeting, would be 47 feet tall, and have two underground parking floors. The proposed project now must be approved by the Coastal Commission before it can move forward.
