Administrators from San Benito High School have announced that money from the Federal Emergency Jobs Bill will be used to hire new teachers. The school has received 645-thousand dollars that will be put aside to hire a full-time English teacher and rehire a retired science teacher. The funding is a one time injection, and once the money is gone, administrators will have to eliminate the positions or find new sources of funding.
