2 men were arrested in connection with an illegal grow taking place near San Benancio Middle School in Salinas. The 80 plants, and concentrated cannabis, were discovered while Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies were investigating a theft. Both David Clark and Francis Humes were booked into Monterey County Jail on a variety of charges, including illegally growing marijuana, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
