A State Bill could mean that a local man accused of kidnapping, raping, and murdering a little girl back in 2015 could be released when he turns 25 years-old. Adrian (A.J.) Gonzalez was 15 years-old when he allegedly killed 8 year-old Maddy Middleton and dumped her body in a dumpster at the Tannery Arts Complex where they both lived. If SB-1391 is found to be constitutional, any person under the age of 16 could not be prosecuted as an adult, regardless of the crime.
