Dr. Wallach discusses the relationship between obesity, excess weight gain and type II diabetes. Asserting that although related the weight gain does not cause the diabetes. Rather that diet and lifestyle led to both disorders. Outlining several Youngevity products and weight reduction plans.

Pearls of Wisdom

Dr. Wallach and Doug discuss discusses a couple of news articles. The first article concerns a report from the National Center for Health Statistics that found a 31% increase in doctor visits in the last 12 years. During the same time span the population only grew 11%. The second article concerns a story from Scotland where a man had cancer surgery. Five years later following a checkup he was never informed the cancer had returned and ultimately he died from the cancer.
