A FOSSIL FOUND IN SANTA CRUZ HAS REVEALED A NEW SPECIES OF WHALE. PALEONTOLOGY GRADUATE STUDENT ROBERT BOESSENECKER RECOVERED A SKULL AMONG A TROVE OF OTHER WHALE BONES IN A CLIFFSIDE TEN YEARS AGO. ACCORDING TO BOESSENECKER’S RECENT FINDINGS, THE FOSSIL BELONGED TO A WHALE 5-6 METERS LONG THAT LIVED IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN THREE MILLION YEARS AGO.
