TWO MEN WERE BOOKED INTO SANTA CRUZ COUNTY JAIL THIS WEEK IN CONNECTION WITH POSSESSING STOLEN PROPERTY AND METHAMPHETAMINE. 48-YEAR OLD JAMES DERMATES AND 49-YEAR OLD ANTHONY DALGLISH WERE ARRESTED MONDAY AFTER A FAILED ATTEMPT TO SELL THREE CUSTOM GATEWOOD GUITARS, WORTH $9,000, TO A LIVE OAK RESIDENT. THE RESIDENT CONTACTED POLICE AFTER LEARNING THE GUITARS WERE POSSIBLY STOLEN. INVESTIGATORS DISCOVERED THE GUITARS WERE TAKEN FROM A MODESTO BUSINESS IN JULY. THE MEN WERE RELEASED ON A $5,000 BOND.
