ALTHOUGH THE SANTA CRUZ SMALL CRAFT HARBOR WILL REMAIN CLOSED TO VESSELS THROUGH AT LEAST SUNDAY, 21 OF THE 26 DOCKS WERE PARTIALLY OR FULLY RE-OPENED YESTERDAY, SO THAT LIVE-ABOARD RESIDENTS COULD RETURN HOME. POWER HAS BEEN RESTORED TO DOCKS A- F, AA, AND FF IN THE SOUTHWEST HARBOR, S AND T IN THE SOUTHEAST HARBOR, AND X, J, G-2 AND G-3 IN THE NORTH HARBOR. THE L-R SOUTHEAST HARBOR DOCKS WILL HAVE LIMITED ACCESS FROM 9 A.M. – 5 P.M. Other docks will remain closed until further notice.
The financial toll (stemming from Friday’s surge) IS NOW ESTIMATED TO BE IN EXCESS OF 22 MILLION DOLLARS, not including the 4 million DOLLARS IN damage to private boats.
