The Santa Cruz Police are investigating a shooting that took place early Saturday morning. Shortly after 12 a-m a shooting was reported on the 700 block of Chestnut Street. A short time later an adult male was treated for a gunshot wound at an area hospital. At this time no arrests have been made. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact Santa Cruz police.
