A Santa Cruz man sustained major injuries after being struck by a car last night. Officials say the 18-year-old victim was crossing Soquel Drive shortly after 8:30 when he was hit by a vehicle being driven by a 71-year-old man from Aptos. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital for treatment. The incident is currently under investigation.
