A Santa Cruz man was arrested in Scotts Valley last night on weapons charges and probation violation. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Bethany Drive around 11 when they spotted a vehicle with expired registration. One of the car’s occupants, 21-year-old Evan Aubrey-Boyd Dixon, was found to be in possession of a knife and a loaded firearm. Dixon was booked into county jail.
