Two new flu cases were reported out of Santa Cruz County today. The total number of patients being treated in intensive care is now eight. The newest patients are a man between the ages of 40 and 50 and a woman between the ages of 20 and 30. The report shows that one of the eight patients, a man between the ages of 40 and 50, has died. So far there have not been any other deaths related to the flu reported in the county.
