A Santa Cruz man has been arrested for stealing a vehicle at knife point. The incident took place Friday near West Cliff and Swift Street where Mathew Stevens used a knife to car jack a truck along with cell phones and clothing. Police attempted to pull Stevens over and a chase ensued. The car chase ended when he crashed on La Madrona and fled on foot. Stevens was apprehended near the Scotts Valley Hilton and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
