Permits to operate new marijuana dispensaries in Santa Cruz County will continue to be issued after an ordinance to renew a soon to expire moratorium was approved today. Board of Supervisors voted 3-to-2 in favor of approving the ordinance that allows new dispensaries to apply for permits starting in December. The County’s dispensary moratorium was set to expire on November 15th. The number of dispensaries in the County are expected to double because of the vote.
