The USGS is reporting that an earthquake struck in Santa Clara county yesterday (Thurs). The agency announced a magnitude 3.5 earthquake took place at 11:41 a.m., and was centered 5 miles east-northeast of the town of San Martin, near Morgan Hill. No injuries or damages have been reported.
