A Santa Barbara company has initiated a voluntary recall of its smoked salmon products due to a possible Listeria contamination. Health officials are currently investigating the Santa Barbara Smokehouse’s processing facility. Meanwhile, the company is recalling all cold-smoked salmon with pack dates of August 8th, September 17th and 19th, as well as all products packed between December 17th and 24th, 2014. The product was manufactured under the Cambridge House, Channel Island Smokehouse, Coastal Harbor, and Harbor Point brand names. No illnesses have been reported. Anyone who sees the product being sold is encouraged to contact the CDPH.
