A 44 year-old Sand City woman has been sentenced to 5 years probation and 30 days in jail. That after Rachel Joy Gagliano was convicted last week of driving under the influence, fleeing the scene of an accident, and other charges related to her November 2019 accident (in which she drove her minivan into a pole, and then drove away from the scene of the accident). Gagliano who has been ordered not to drink alcohol for a year had also already pleaded “No Contest” to driving on a suspended license. She is required to have an ignition interlock on her vehicle, and to also wear an alcohol monitoring device for a year.
