A development project in Sand City has caused the need for about 20 local businesses to close, including a climbing gym that’s been in the same place for 23 years. The owner of Sanctuary Rock Gym said that although work is not expected to begin for a couple months on the development, his landlord has asked him to leave by the end of this week, so he’s dismantling the gym, and looking for a new location. The new development is expected to triple the population of Sand City.
