The body of a 70 year old transient was pulled from the San Lorenzo River in Santa Cruz yesterday (Thurs). Shortly after 10:30 a.m. authorities were alerted to a body in the water next to the west levee. The deceased male was pulled from the water and turned over to the coroner to determine cause of death. The death does not appear suspicious. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
