a gilroy man has been found guilty of a home invasion in the san juan bautista area in 2009. 29 year old robert gidding was found guilty on felony counts of robbery, burglary and assault with a firearm. prosecutors alleged that gidding, along with another man, entered a home off of highway 156 and proceeded to bind and rob the residents. gidding is SCHEDULED for a sentencing hearing on february 23rd.
