a 16 year old teen suspected of armed robbery was arrested in san jose last night following an extensive police search. the juvenile evaded officers on foot along the los gatos creek trail just before 4 p.m. yesterday. he was apprehended after 6 p.m. at a gas station near coleman avenue. a helicopter was utilized in the search, as san jose police officers feared he might have been armed. the teen is suspected of at least 1 armed robbery in san jose.
