San Benito County’s Shelter in Place order will be allowed to expire this Sunday at 11:59 PM. The state’s Stay at Home order will, however, remain in effect.
Interim Public Health Officer, Dr. David Ghilarducci, said allowing the county’s order to expire to remove confusion about the differences between the county and state order.
The San Benito Department of Public Health reminds residents that a face-covering order remains in effect. Face coverings should be worn in businesses, government buildings, and other places where you will be around other people.
