The San Benito Health Foundation will receive vaccine doses again after discussions between the San Benito County Health Department, the Board of Supervisors, and the San Benito Health Foundation (SBHF).
The health foundation had been accused of giving the vaccine to people outside of county eligibility. The county says its investigation “substantiated” the allegations.
The health foundation disagrees with the allegations and findings, claiming it followed all state guidelines and criticizing the county’s vaccine effort.
But to meet the need for vaccines in poor communities, the groups say they will now work together once again.
