An earthquake shook south Monterey County Saturday evening. The temblor struck at 6:17 p.m., measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale. According to the USGS the epicenter was 14 miles north by north-east of San Ardo, at a depth of 4.7 miles. At this time no injuries or damages have been reported.
