Starting this Friday, Hair and nail salons, skin care, tattoo parlors, body piercing, waxing, microblading and other personal care services are allowed to return in Santa Cruz County.
The Health order includes following state guidance on “expanded personal services”, and allows most businesses within the Personal services category to reopen their doors this Friday provided they comply with state guidelines.
Meanwhile, the City of Santa Cruz has opened various haircut shops and other personal care, some of which are on a limited service.
Those who are interested in booking an appointment with a personal care business are encouraged to contact the provider and note the new rules for checking in, as well as waiting outside the establishment prior to appointment.
