A plan, that would keep the Salinas Homeless Shelter open for at least 5 more months, only needs 2 more groups to ok it. Salinas City Leaders, and the board of directors for the Franciscan Workers Of Junipero, need to approve an agreement that Monterey County Supervisors unanimously ok’d today. If approved, expanded services would begin May 30th , and run through October 30th, of this year.
