(06:40) Salinas – The Salinas Fire Department reported that a pile of trash caught on fire yesterday evening. Fire crews responded to a big trash fire just after 5:30 at the Sun Street Transfer Station. The fire grew to around a quarter to half an acre in size. The fire was fully contained in 20 minutes. There were no reports of any injuries.
