SINCE SHE LEARNED ENGLISH, MARTINEZ HAS RECEIVED SCHOLARSHIPS AND CERTIFICATES FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT….ALL LEADING UP TO YESTERDAY’S ANNOUNCEMENT THAT SHE HAD RECEIVED THE WILLIAM RANDOLPH HEARST SCHOLARSHIP….WHICH IS ONLY GIVEN TO 1 STUDENT AT EACH OF THE 23 C.S.U.
