A 43-year old man, out on parole, was arrested in Salinas early this morning on suspicion of stealing a vehicle. Police spotted the car, which had been reported stolen, at Williams Road and Grandhaven Street at around 1:30 a.m. Police stopped the driver of the vehicle, Mark Valenzuela, for a routine traffic stop, took him into custody and booked him into Monterey County Jail.
