Salinas police arrested a 23-year old man last night after he allegedly stabbed a man during an argument. Police say at about 10:30 on the 100 block of Carr Avenue the suspect, Rogelio Tolentino pulled out a small pocket knife after the argument and stabbed the 20-year old victim in the back. The victim’s girlfriend tried to intervene while others at the home called police. Tolentino was booked into Monterey County Jail while officers recovered the knife.
