Several people, including an 11-year old boy, suffered non life threatening injuries during two separate shootings in Salinas last night. The first incident occurred just before 6:30 when two brothers, ages 19 and 11, were shot at while they were standing outside their home on the 100 block of Eagle Drive. Both were hospitalized and treated. The 2nd shooting took place roughly 3 hours later outside of an apartment complex on the 700-block of Elkington Avenue, when two men in their early twenties were approached by four males. Police say several shots were fired at the two, who were both hospitalized and treated for their injuries. No arrests have been made.
