Salinas police are investigating an early Friday shooting. Two people were hospitalized after being shot just after 1a-m on the 7 hundred block of Jefferson Street. A woman was shot in the torso while sleeping. A 17 year old victim was also hospitalized. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact Salinas P.D.
