(16:50) SALINAS- A Salinas teenager is in critical condition after being shot on Friday. Shortly before 1 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired on the 700 block of Mae Avenue. At the scene officers located a 15 year old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back of the head. Witness reports say an occupant of a black vehicle fired several shots at the teen before fleeing the area. The victim is in intensive care in an area hospital.
