1-person was killed during an armed home-invasion in north salinas this(wed) afternoon. A homeowner on pingree way (near san juan grade road) reportedly had a home security camera, and saw 3-suspects approaching his property. when they entered his house, the man’s son shot and killed 1-suspect. The other 2 fled, and are being sought. Monterey county sheriff’s deputies are investigating the incident.
