A shooting was reported in Salinas on Friday evening. Nobody was reported injured in the 6:13 p.m. incident. Several shots were fired in an alley off of north main street, and 1-round hit a passing vehicle. Salinas Police officers that responded had gotten reports of an injured victim, however they could not locate any victims or suspects. 4-men were contacted at a nearby apartment complex. They were questioned, and released. The incident remains under investigation.
