SHOTS WERE FIRED DURING THE ROBBERY OF A CONVENIENCE IN SALINASEARLY MONDAY MORNING. AT ABOUT 1:30 A-M 2 ARMED MEN ENTERED THE QUIK STOP ON THE 3-HUNDRED BLOCK OF WILLIAMS ROAD AND DEMANDED MONEY. AFTER EMPTYING THE REGISTERS, ONE OF THE ROBBERS FIRED 3 SHOTS INTO THE CEILING AND THEN FIRED 1 IN THE DIRECTION OF THE CLERK. THE SUSPECTS ARE DESCRIBED AS 5’8” AND 5’9” ONE OF THEM HAS A TATTOO ON HIS CHEEK. ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE ROBBERY IS ENCOURAGED TO CONTACT THE SALINAS POLICE DEPARTMENT.
