Salinas police reported this weekend that 3 armed robberies occurred this weekend. in 1-incident, at 11:30 Saturday night, 2-people were robbed at gunpoint on the 7-hundred block of Fairmont drive. shortly after that, a group of people were robbed by 2, armed-gunmen in the parking lot of a pharmacy on south main street. a few hours later, at 1:30 Sunday morning, a person was robbed by 2-gunmen near east market and king streets. The suspects in that case fled in a silver chevy vehicle. Salinas police are trying to determine if the same suspects are responsible for all 3 robberies.
