2 men are being sought in connection with the robbery of a salinas restaurant last night. 2 suspects entered the cathey house restaurant around 7 p.m. armed with handguns. they attempted to pry open a cash register when the owner of the monterey street business saw them and called the police. the 2 men took off running with an undisclosed amount of cash. anyone who has any information is asked to contact the salinas police department.
