A 27-year-old gang member was was arrested outside Watsonville today(Sun), after leading authorities on a car chase. At 5:21 p.m., Members of the Salinas Police Department’s Violence Suppression Unit recognized Bicente Carasco sitting in car in the Lamplighter Trailer Park. Carasco was on parole, and officers attempted to conduct a parole search of his vehicle. However, Carasco fled, and led officers on a pursuit on Highway-101. The chase ended on San Juan Road at Allison Road, and Carasco was booked into Monterey County Jail for an outstanding warrant, and for felony evading arrest.
