A 20-year old gang member on probation was arrested on multiple charges early yesterday morning after committing a traffic violation. Pablo Castaneda Junior, who was driving a stolen vehicle, was booked into Monterey County Jail when he failed to stop at a stop sign on California at Rossi Street at 3:30 a.m. Castaneda and 2 male passengers jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot after a brief vehicle chase. Castaneda was tased and taken into custody, while his 2 passengers were not located.
