A prison riot hospitalized 4 inmates on Saturday. Authorities say that the riot took place at Salinas Valley State Prison during evening recreational time. 17 inmates took place in the incident. A weapon was recovered after the riot was stopped by correctional officers. The injured inmates have been released from the hospital and returned to the facility.
