The Salinas Police Department will hold a ceremony to mark the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. The event will honor those who lost their lives that day, as well as those who responded. It will start at 7:30 a.m. Monday morning in front of City Hall at 200 Lincoln Ave., Salinas, with a reception to follow at the nearby Police Activities League Youth Center at 100 Howard St.
