Salinas city council members voted to increase the cost of parking tickets in the city, during their meeting yesterday. The 6 to 1 vote will increase all types of parking tickets by 3-dollars. The move was made after the state raised a ticket processing fee by 3-dollars-per-ticket. A ticket for parking longer than your time limit will now result in a 32-dollar fine, up from 29-dollars.
