2 people are in custody, and an 18-year old is recovering, after he was thrown off a Salinas overpass early this morning. Police say the 18-year old was walking northbound on North Main Street on the Highway 101 overpass around 1 a.m., when he was approached by 2 suspects. A fight ensued followed by the victim being thrown off the overpass. He fell 22-feet from the top of the overpass prior to the ice plants below that are between the northbound on-ramp and traffic lanes of 101. 21-year old Ysidro Madrigal and 18-year old Juan Barajas were booked into Monterey County Jail.
