A Salinas man faces life imprisonment if convicted of sexually assaulting a 3-year old child. 23-year old Salvador Luna Marin pleaded not guilty this week to 9 felony counts of multiple charges including engaging in sexual intercourse or sodomy with a child aged 10 or under. Marin is also accused of one misdemeanor charge of cruelty to a child not likely to cause great bodily injury.
