the “city of salinas clean-up day” is slated for this weekend. 5 salinas neighborhood are being cleaned up by VOLUNTEERS, who will do litter clean-ip, graffiti abatement, and weeding. the event is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. at los olivos-riker, monterey park, univeristy park, maple park, and soledad street. a free barbeque will be held afterwards, from noon to 1 p.m. at central park.
