The name of a Salinas homicide victim has been released. Authorities say that the body found last Wednesday in a motel parking lot near Johns Street has been identified as 34 year old Luis Rodolfo Santa Maria. Santa Maria was homeless at the time of his death and frequently slept in the area. Investigators have yet to establish a motive for the killing. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact Salinas police.
